Piper is an existing company that I did research on. After doing the research, I focused on rebranding them towards their new target audience that I believed would attract more revenue. This information is what drove the rest of the project which entailed: logo creation, brand assets, advertisement, and more. The following are the results of this project.
THE LOGO
After evaluating and determining the direction I wanted to take the rebrand, I decided to change the logo into a more modern design that stands out among their competition. The form of the Piper logo represents and depicts the forward thinking of the company and its innovations in the market. As well as, abstractly representing a Piper plane moving forward
BRAND standards Book
After creating all brand assets and visual identity for Piper, I created their new brand standards manual. This manual explains how all visual communication should be used in reference to the Piper brand. It covers the companies vision, logo, brand colors, custom typography, and more.
CREATING PIPER SANS
Creating the visual identity, also called for a custom typeface, I created this by using a pre-exsisting typeface called Copperplate. After taking the typeface into its most basic form, I added the visual qualities that can be seen in the logo. This new typeface helps communicate the mission statement throughout visual communication of the brand.
